Visual Identity for None Whatsoever: Zen Paintings from the Gitter Yelen Collection at Japan Society, New York. In the screen-printed exhibition graphics the content is segmented onto long strips of paper. Similar to the process of a Zen painting, the predefined format serves as a starting point for the design. In order to visually pick up on the dynamics of spontaneous brushwork, solvent is sprayed directly onto the screen so that the paint runs partially.
