The Kunsthalle and Kunstmuseum Appenzell form a joint institution. The visual identity unites the two locations without giving up their independence; instead of harmonising the differences, these are emphasised in the design and placed in relation to one another. The advertising media take up this duality by combining the parallel exhibitions through a common visual. This forms the basis for the entire visual communication, which is realised by creating an A3 screen print for each exhibition and applying it to various formats (F4, A2, A3). The poster backgrounds are printed digitally and display images of the exhibited artworks.
